I cleaned out my studio last week...trying to get a little more order in my crazy life!
I found quite a few quilt tops ready to be quilted...I found quite a few bundles of blocks waiting to become finished tops...
And I found this top....I have been working on it off and on for a year now. I started with appliqueing the solid background. It is my representation of the four seasons, beginning with Spring (birth) at the top and working down to Winter (Death) at the bottom. I have added some embroidery and ribbon and other things to it here and there. I plan to add photos of Women who have been an important part of my life...Mom, Grandmas, etc.
