Reward for My Missing Quilt

The cover of my current CQ book, Allie Aller's Crazy Quilting went missing after Quilt Market in Salt Lake City in May. The quilt is "Crazy in the Garden", the working title of which was "Spring CQ" (that is how it is tagged here on my blog.) All my old time readers remember this quilt, I am sure.

Here is the link to the press release from C&T Publishing Company. They are offering a reward for my missing quilt, as well as the other three authors' quilts that were lost. Keep your eye out for them, ok? Thanks....

And DO get your quilt appraised before you send it off into the world.

Please pass on this info to your local quilters and blog readers-thanks!

Finished and claimed!

I finished another quilt

and it has been claimed!

The photo isn't too great.
The border and binding is a yellow print.
This was the mystery project from the Utah Quilt Guild website a couple of years ago.

Of course, it is an original,
because I have the habit of mistakenly sewing a piece or block
just a 1/4-1/2 turn off and invent a new pattern.

Onto the next binding....

No changes...again!

You'd think I would remember what it was like
to have a new baby in the house,
but I didn't.

Lots of work...lots of cuddling...no sewing!

My goals for 18-24 July

Make & Create:
Finish the binding on one quilt
Make a breast cancer fabric block
Make-embroider July Bird block

Health & Weight:
List amount of water each day
Exercise each day
Eat at home only the whole week

How are you doing?

Finally, I am ahead of schedule...

I came home from my monthly quilt meeting
with the challenge fabric...a small red & white strip.

Each guild member is making a block of her choice
using the strip fabric.

I made a block called "Kings Highway"

Yay, I have something done way before
the November deadline!
