A couple months ago I told you how we had to have our daughters cat, Izzy the Devil Kitty, put down.
It was very difficult as I made the final decision to do it.
I hate being an adult sometimes, and that was one of those times.
Today, I had to repeat that choice with my own cat, Minou
who this blog is named after....
She was 18 years old and has been a wonderful furry member of our family.
In her younger years she was a great mouse catcher,
which was good when we built our home next to the farms.
She has slept on my hip or back each night all these years.
I will miss her dearly!

So sorry to hear you have lost your little friend.....I have just started out on the journey with my furry kids and they already have a big hold on my heartstrings.
A very sad day, Suzanne, and my heart goes out to you. These little creatures give us so much joy that letting them go is the most difficult thing to do. Big Hugs.....AJ
I'm sorry to hear about Minou. Its always a hard decision.
Hi
Suzanne....
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your nice comment...
and I am so very sorry for your loss. 18 years was a long time together.
She's mousing in heaven now, though!
Take care,
Allie
Sorry to hear about your devil cat. I know it can be like losing a family member.
I had a cat live with me for 17 years when he died. I was in my teens and hated cats when a friend dumped this kitten on me. His name was Magic, and when he had died he had been with me for over half my life. He outlasted my marriage. In fact at that point he was the only thing the same in my life as 17 years prior. Isn't it funny how life works?
