I counted 1.5 yards used in last Sunday's stashbusting report, but I forgot to show what project it went into. I purchased a wall hanging pattern from www.littlequilts.com many years ago. I started appliqueing the letters and that's as far as I got...until now.
My quilt looks similar to this photo off their website (my photo wouldn't post), except I pieced a different 8 point star block for the bottom roll. It was fun to do all the piecing...different from the type of quilts I do now. Don't know what I am going to do with it....
I also finished another Flea Market Fancy quilt for the QOV...the sashing & borders are a bright yellow....I mean a REALLY bright yellow. The squares are more solid fabrics from my stash.
In Closing: I read a couple of refashioning/reusing blogs...also noticed that the Keepsake Quilting catalog has a few books/patterns related to re-using old things to make new....how about you? Do you refashion....I do....please, share!

It's not quilting re-use, but...
On my mission we used yogurt cups for drinking cups. They'd wear out after a while, but there were always more available.
In high school I used the same book report for History and English.
One time when Mom and I were driving to SLC, the car engine started knocking just before Las Vegas. The gas station guy said the oil was thickening, and he put a little gas into the oil to thin it out. Old gas, new oil? It worked, we didn't explode, and Mom had the oil changed in LV.
And I once had a pair of jeans with holes in the knees that I cut off and used as a swim suit.
I love your blog!!!
