Slow Sunday Stitiching

The weather has turned cooler
this weekend with clouds and rain.

I am ready to settle down on
the couch for a little hand stitching
on my Trip Around the World quilt

I started it over a year ago, but did
not work on it for most of the Summer.
Sitting under a large quilt top in
the Summer heat was not pleasant!

I may also do some un-stitching
today too. I am practicing my
machine quilting on a wallhanging
I have had in the UFO pile
for a couple of years (or more)
I quilted some of the border, but
do not like how it looks. Out come
the handy dandy seam ripper!

What are you slow stitching today?

I just love your trip quilt! How big did you make your quilt again? I have a 2 inch one started but got sidetracked with the 2.5 inch block one.... How are you planning to hand quilt it? Enjoy the stitches.

Glad to see you back to work on your TATW! I stopped at 32 rounds. I need to get some backing fabric so that I can get it hand quilted. I miss having a hand piecing project to turn to. Hope you are enjoying your hand piecing.
