Slow Sunday Stitching-20 Sep

I attended the Utah Quilt Fest this
past week where I took a class
in Sashiko stitching.

We were given kits with the
traditional indigo blue fabric
and white cotton thread.

I will be stitching the Crane
motif. It is a very restful
stitching to do after a crazy week.

What are you stitching this Sunday?

Isn't it amazing what one can do with a needle and some thread. What do you plan to do with the cranes once they are completed?

Sounds like a fun class. Sashiko has always intrigued me. Is it difficult?

This looks like a fun project. I have a sashiko block done but need to make it into something,,,a pillow or wall hanging, perhaps.
