Fabric report-30 Aug

So, a new chapter in my life
begins this week.

I am a stay home woman
once again. No 9-5 job.
No deadlines or appointments.

I have taken a new
pledge to myself:

No purchasing of Fabric or Yarn
for the next 12 months
(my husband suggested 18 months)

I have taken the pledge before
and have succeeded, so I know
it is a doable goal.

Today, my fabric stash begins

Fabric in: 0 yards
Fabric out: 0 yards

Let the sewing begin....

Oh welcome to my club--EXCEPT, I failed miserably this year--waaay too much fabric in vs. fabric out. I am going to renew my pledge Sept 1st.....maybe you can keep me in line hahaha hugs, Julierose

Here's to success in your endeavour! I'm sadly failing at that because I'm way too OCD about colour. It has to be just right or else I'm off to the LQS and then I don't just buy what I'm looking for. You know how it is. But now I have other things on the burners and they will be coming up so that is going to be keeping me in line. Here's to OUR successes😀

You can do this! This is one of my goals for 2016, but I think I'll be starting this in October 2015. (I may need binding fabric before then for a couple of special quilts.) Good luck!

Wishing you success in your no-fabric-purchases endeavor! Of course, sometimes new fabric is needed in order to be able to use up old fabric and finish a project. But there's always trading - put out the word and maybe someone has what you need and you can exchange from your stash for it. Good luck!
