Fabric Stash report

Yeah...I finally have something to count this week!

I donated a quilt to QOV made from

my red, yellow and blue scraps.

I forgot to take a photo-it was a pinwheel pattern.

Fabric in YTD: 103 yards

Fabric used this week: 3 yards

Fabric used YTD: 82 yards

Okay, so it was only 3 yards in the top,

but that's still a plus for me....lol

Goals for Nov 29-Dec 4

Make and Create:

Finish 2 sets of Jammie's (grandchildren)

Put names on 2 aprons (granddaughters)
Binding on Christmas gift quilt

Update stocking stuffer-gift list for family

Sign and mail Christmas cards

Start decorating the House

Nothing new...I'm on vacation in South Carolina.

I did bring some hand work with me,

but I'm having too much fun

searching for shells

and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.

during this week of Spring Break and a really nasty cough!

I am beginning to make dresses for a charity in Africa

plus I used up some more of my solids for a QOV quilt.

We've got alot of sickness here...again.
I think we've been passing the same cough back and forth
for about 6 weeks now...it's my turn again...lol

No new sewing this last week, tho I did get a good start on cutting out my

"Christmas in July" project.

I am using all the different Red fabrics the ladies of my Quilt Chapter gave me

when I retired as Chapter President in December.

I need to get more organized and do some sewing more regularly!

It felt so wonderful to sew yesterday during National Quilting Day!

Sewing is so relaxing for me....

We're having a baby boom here in Clinton, Utah, so I made some more baby flannel quilts

I've worked on the the Skill Building blocks I have been presenting to my quilt chapter each month...block #7 and #8 ready for March meeting-I left #7 at home for February meeting-oops!

I also cleaned out my piles and found a quilt top and backing to go to charity for March. I'll add the yardage to next weeks totals.

I also wanted to post that today would have been my Dad's 85th birthday. Both he and Mom passed on exactly 18 days before their next birthdays. He liked a party with his family the best!

I used one whole yard of scrap terry cloth making tubes (filled with cat liter) to block out the cold air coming into our laundryroom....hey, at least I sewed this week!
