Happy Easter to you in blog land!
For this weeks stash busting report,
again I have no changes. I am currently
part of a mystery sew-a-long in my
monthly quilt guild group. I don't
count my fabric busted until the
project is done, which will not be
until September.
For my slow stitching Sunday, I am
working on my Trip around the World
I find hand sewing to be very relaxing, which
is a good thing to do in this crazy busy
World. I don't watch TV, but when I do, I
hand sew or knit at the same time. Creating
with my hands while my brain takes a
mini vacation!
I have set the goal to sew a little
each day. Except for this last week,
I have done pretty good at keeping this
goal....Spring Break with a Husband
who is a school teacher and 2
grandchildren who needed tending does
not always translate into sewing time.
What are you creating?

Your TATW quilt looks great! How many rows will it be when it is done?
I am loving this project too! I love how soft and cozy it feels and can't wait to hand quilt it some day. Not sure how big is will get cause it is hard not to keep going!
What a lovely quilt! I think that when you work by hand magic happens - things get done much more quickly than you'd ever imagine! You'll be finished up before you know it :)
Beautiful TATW quilt. Your's is so big. My 2 inch one is just a baby compared to that. I keep getting sidetracked making 2.5 inch ones in a certain color a month - April's is purple and I am going to enjoy some slow stitches on it today.
I think your TATW is just a beautiful piece. And all by hand--that is wonderful. I am so tempted to begin one--but, after I finish my hand worked hexagon piece. hugs, Julierose
It is gorgeous! Are you going to hand quilt it? I could see it quilted on the diagonal in a thread colour matching each round... so fun!
